Hector Baez was a Hispanic American who worked as a lawyer, and a fan of Spider-Man and the Avengers. Following the battle of New York, Hector was against Senator Stern's words in blaming the Avengers for saving New York and learned of Spider-Man's idenity. He became highly supportive to the Avengers for saving New York and would help establish the Parker Industries.
